As of tomorrow, August 1, 2020, the new tollbooth, located in the parish of Píntag, will be operational. The station has 6 collection lanes and will allow to maintain this important road in the best conditions, for the benefit of the citizens and the productive sector.

The toll is part of the E35 route that goes from Rumichaca to Riobamba and which is concessioned to the company Panavial, of proven experience.

The construction of the toll station in Píntag, canton Quito, generated 500 jobs during the work and 250 permanent jobs for the operation of the toll. In addition and in order to strengthen the economy of the area, 70% of the labor force is local. About 15,000 inhabitants of the parish and surrounding areas will benefit from this work.

The expansion of this ring, which is part of the Pan-American Highway, is of great importance for the mobility of the flow of vehicles of the parishes located in the eastern corridor of the capital. In addition, it is one of the main accesses to the Mariscal Sucre International Airport, located in Tababela, which makes it a strategic route for foreign trade.

The construction and operation of the toll contemplates benefits such as the implementation of a safety station and complementary services on the road as a pre-hospital, ambulance and mechanical service with 2 cranes for trucks and light vehicles.
